Roman Blinds

Roman Blinds

Roman blinds function similarly to roller blinds, descending from top to bottom to cover the full length of your window

The key difference lies in their appearance. Roman blinds consist of evenly stacked folds of fabric, which neatly layer over one another when raised. Unlike roller blinds, they do not roll up into a headrail for storage.

Roman blinds come in a wide variety of styles, allowing you to choose an option that not only adds a touch of luxury but also complements current interior design trends. Whether you prefer a classic, contemporary, or more intricate design, Roman blinds can enhance the aesthetic of any room, offering both style and function.

For a sleek and functional window treatment, Roman blinds are an excellent choice. We recommend opting for motorized Roman blinds if you want added convenience and ease, especially for larger windows or hard-to-reach areas. Choose light-filtering fabrics for living spaces to let in soft natural light while maintaining privacy, and blackout fabrics for bedrooms or home theaters to ensure optimal light control. Consider neutral tones for a timeless look, or bold patterns to make a statement and enhance the room's design.

Roman Blinds can usually be fitted either inside or outside the window recess. Inside the recess is the most popular choice, for a sleek, slimline and professional finish at your window. Fitting outside the recess has its perks too though – it allows you either to layer another blind inside the recess behind, or keeps the window sill clear so your favourite ornaments can be kept proudly on display when the blind is raised. Please note that when choosing a drill-free fitting upgrade, the blind can only be installed inside the recess.
